Briana is a Toronto based filmmaker, photographer and illustrator. She graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Film Production in 2022. 

During her time at school, she specialized in experimental filmmaking and video editing. Her films centered around the study of interpersonal relationships, ranging from mother-daughter dynamics to the inner workings of the mind and body.

Alongside her filmic endeavours, she is also the lead photographer for Couch Apparel, a clothing brand in Toronto. This is where she explores and exhibits her passion for fashion and editorial photography.

It should be noted that her digital art style can be attested to her illustrative background that she developed throughout her primitive years. Her drawings are recognized for their surreal, stylized imagery and the use of pen and ink.  

Her general fascination with unconventional art is a focal point of all the pieces she creates. She strives to continue to make works that compel viewers to question what they are presented with and to feel emotions they have never quite felt before.
